Fall Semester 2004
Preamble
In gratitude, for the grace of Jesus Christ, in whose death we have died and in whose resurrection we have found new life, we pledge to be his disciples. We recognize that through God's grace each of us in this covenant comes with different gifts that we will use to help one another as we declare God's will. We will be faithful to God, ourselves, and others, to do our best to reflect the love of Jesus Christ. We will at all times respect each individual in our covenant, and we will allow each member to speak what is on his/her heart. With the grace and help of God, we pray that this covenant group will be pleasing to the Lord.
Acts of Justice
We covenant to preach about social justice from the pulpit at least once per month.
We will spend quality time with our families each week.
Acts of Worship
We will attend one hour of worship weekly outside of the Sunday morning worship service.
Acts of Devotion
We will spend quality time with our families each week.
We will practice self-care by getting sufficient rest and sleep, eating properly, and setting aside personal time.
We will write a journal entry at least once per week.
