Fall Semester 2004
Covenant Discipleship Group 6
In praise and thanksgiving, we acknowledge and rejoice that the purposes of our lives are to know, experience, and share the love of God with one another, in our families, in our communities, and throughout the world.
[Note: The term, God, is used here to be inclusive of members of our group who are not traditional Christians. For those who are traditional Christians, there is a fervent commitment to Jesus Christ.]
Through this covenant, we strengthen our resolve and open ourselves to grace as we carry out individual and collective acts of compassion, justice, devotion, and worship. (Inspired by the covenant of United Methodist Women).
